Bio

Chad Killinger enters his first season as head coach at Southeast Arkansas with 28 years of collegiate coaching experience, including 18 seasons at the NJCAA level. He has recorded 312 head coaching victories, contributed to more than 500 collegiate wins, and helped 130 student-athletes advance to four-year institutions, including 54 NCAA Division I signees.

Prior to SEARK, Killinger served as head coach at Indiana State University, where he revitalized the program over three seasons while developing multiple All-Conference student-athletes and leading the team to academic success. He also served as recruiting coordinator at Nicholls State and assistant coach at East Carolina.

Killinger enjoyed tremendous success as head coach at Moberly Area Community College, posting a 147-71 record while earning the 2018 WBCA Two-Year College National Coach of the Year award. His coaching career also includes successful stops at Marshall University, Lincoln Trail College, Jacksonville College, and Franklin College, where he established a reputation for player development, recruiting, program building, and academic excellence.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Franklin College and a Master of Sports Science in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy.

Coach Killinger and his family include his sons, Isaiah, Elijah, and Moses; his daughters, Josiah, Noah, and Micah; and his grandson, Ezekiel.
