SEARK Softball easily dispatched Coahoma Community College on Friday at Southeast Arkansas College, 8-0.

A ground out by Randerson put SEARK Softball on the board in the bottom of the first.

SEARK Softball scored one run in the bottom of the second on a solo home run to right field by Ball.

SEARK Softball added one run in the third. Randerson grounded out, making the score 3-0.

Ball earned the win for SEARK Softball. The left-handed pitcher gave up four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking one. Benefield took the loss for Coahoma Community College. The starting pitcher went three and one-third innings, surrendering seven runs (five earned) on five hits, striking out none and walking two.

Woodell, the number eight hitter for SEARK Softball, led the way with three runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Reed, Domangue, Woodell, Coleman, Lopez, and Ball each collected one hit for SEARK Softball. SEARK Softball had a strong eye at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Domangue led the team with two free passes. Ball was 2-2 with two home runs and a walk. Coleman stole two bases. SEARK Softball stole four bases in the game. SEARK Softball didn't commit a single error in the field. Woodell had the most chances in the field with eight.

Morgan, Cameron, Berryhill, and McCollum each collected one hit for Coahoma Community College. Coahoma Community College ran wild on the base paths, tallying three stolen bases for the game. Coahoma Community College turned one double play in the game.
