Seark starts conference 2-0 on the road at North Arkansas College

Game 1

SEARK Softball were triumphant over North Arkansas College Pioneers 7-2 on Friday at North Arkansas College.
 
SEARK Softball got on the board in the top of the first inning after Coleman doubled to center field, Randerson doubled to center field, Reed singled down the left field line, and Woodell doubled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
 
SEARK Softball added three more runs in the top of the fourth inning on four hits. Fieicht hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs, and Randerson tripled, scoring one run.
 
Ball earned the win for SEARK Softball. The lefty allowed six hits and two runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out six and walking two. Jennings stepped in the circle first for North Arkansas College Pioneers. The pitcher surrendered 10 hits and seven runs over four innings, striking out two and walking none.
 
SEARK Softball tallied 12 hits in the game. Randerson went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead SEARK Softball in hits. Fieicht and Randerson each drove in two runs for SEARK Softball. Coleman collected two hits for SEARK Softball in four at bats.
 
Hall and Fulton each drove in one run for North Arkansas College Pioneers. Jennings went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead North Arkansas College Pioneers in hits. North Arkansas College Pioneers turned one double play in the game. North Arkansas College Pioneers didn't commit a single error in the field. Clemence had the most chances in the field with nine.
 
Game 2
 
Despite seeing their 5-run lead whittled down by the end, SEARK Softball still held off for a 6-5 victory on Friday. North Arkansas College Pioneers closed the gap by scoring on a single, an error, and a ground out.
 
SEARK Softball got on the board in the top of the first inning after North Arkansas College Pioneers committed an error, and Woodell singled to center field, each scoring one run.
 
Blythe earned the win for SEARK Softball. The hurler surrendered 15 hits and five runs (three earned) over six and one-third innings, striking out three and walking one. Cowart opened the game for North Arkansas College Pioneers. The right-handed pitcher surrendered nine hits and four runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out one and walking one. Ball appeared in relief for SEARK Softball.
 
SEARK Softball accumulated 12 hits in the game. Fieicht, Reed, Bryant, Coleman, and Randerson each collected two hits for SEARK Softball. Domangue, Woodell, Coleman, and Randerson each drove in one run for SEARK Softball. SEARK Softball turned three double plays in the game.
 
North Arkansas College Pioneers piled up 15 hits in the game. Rhoades provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led North Arkansas College Pioneers with two runs batted in. The third baseman went 3-for-4 on the day. Bass, Emberton, and Rhoades each collected three hits for North Arkansas College Pioneers. Clemence collected two hits for North Arkansas College Pioneers in four at bats.
 
SEARK Softball will play at home on Friday against Carl Albert State College in their next game.
