Game 1

SEARK Softball couldn't keep up with Hinds Softball Eagles and fell 8-0 on Saturday at Hinds Community College - Raymond Campus.
 
Hinds Softball Eagles were the first to get on the board in the first when Hall hit a solo home run to left field.
 
Hinds Softball Eagles added three runs in the third. SEARK Softball committed an error, making the score 4-0.
 
Robertson earned the win for Hinds Softball Eagles. The hurler allowed six hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out three and walking none. Blythe took the loss for SEARK Softball. The pitcher went four innings, giving up eight runs (five earned) on nine hits, striking out none and walking four.
 
Randerson went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead SEARK Softball in hits.
 
Mellard, Hudson, McDaniel, Carter, and Hall each drove in one run for Hinds Softball Eagles. Hudson went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Hinds Softball Eagles in hits. Hinds Softball Eagles had patience at the plate, amassing four walks for the game. Hinds Softball Eagles ran wild on the base paths, amassing three stolen bases for the game. Hinds Softball Eagles turned one double play in the game.
 
Game 2
 
SEARK Softball couldn't keep up with Hinds Softball Eagles and fell 14-5 on Saturday at Hinds Community College. 
 
Hinds Softball Eagles got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after SEARK Softball committed an error, Hudson singled to center field, and Mclean lined out, each scoring one run.
SEARK Softball took the lead, 5-3, in the top of the third thanks to singles by Domangue, Lopez, and Fieicht.
 
Hinds Softball Eagles took the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Carter hit a sacrifice fly, Mclean doubled to right field, Fireplace grounded out, and Herrington singled to center field, each scoring one run.
 
Ball stepped in the circle first for SEARK Softball. The hurler allowed 13 hits and 14 runs (11 earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking four. Gibson began the game for Hinds Softball Eagles. The right-handed pitcher allowed seven hits and five runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking one.
 
Fieicht and Domangue each collected two hits for SEARK Softball. Fieicht went 2-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in.
 
Hinds Softball Eagles amassed 13 hits in the game. Hudson drove the middle of the lineup, leading Hinds Softball Eagles with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-3 on the day. Galloway, McDaniel, and Hall each collected multiple hits for Hinds Softball Eagles. Galloway and McDaniel each stole multiple bases for Hinds Softball Eagles. Hinds Softball Eagles worked the count all day, tallying four walks. Hinds Softball Eagles stole six bases in the game. Hinds Softball Eagles turned one double play in the game.
 
SEARK Softball will travel to Central Baptist College JV for their next game on Monday.
