Seark Softball wins Game 2 against Coahoma CC

Reed collected three hits in three at bats, as SEARK Softball defeated Coahoma Community College 9-1 on Friday at Southeast Arkansas College. Reed hit a solo home run to left field in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the third inning.
Coahoma Community College were the first to get on the board in the first when Cameron grounded out, scoring one run.
Randerson doubled down the left field line, which helped SEARK Softball tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
SEARK Softball captured the lead, 4-1, in the bottom of the second after Reed homered to left field, Coleman singled down the left field line, and Fieicht grounded out, each scoring one run.
SEARK Softball added one run in the third after Woodell singled down the left field line.
Two more SEARK Softball runs crossed the plate in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 7-1. Randerson hit a solo home run to left field, and Reed doubled, scoring one run.
Blythe earned the win for SEARK Softball. The starter gave up six hits and one run over five innings, striking out six and walking one. Berryhill took the loss for Coahoma Community College. The pitcher went two innings, surrendering four runs on three hits, striking out none and walking two.
SEARK Softball collected 11 hits in the game. Domangue collected two hits for SEARK Softball in four at bats. Ball paced SEARK Softball with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting four walks for the game.
Cameron led the team with one run batted in. Morgan led Coahoma Community College with two hits in two at bats.
SEARK Softball will travel to Holmes CC Softball for their next game on Friday.
