Seark Softball drops a conference DH to UA Rich Mountain

Game 1
SEARK Softball lost to University of Arkansas Rich Mountain 12-6 on Saturday at Southeast Arkansas College even though they once led by five runs.
SEARK Softball got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Domangue walked, Alexander singled down the left field line, and University of Arkansas Rich Mountain committed an error, each scoring one run.
SEARK Softball added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Randerson homered to center field, Lopez singled down the left field line, and Bryant singled to left field, each scoring one run.
University of Arkansas Rich Mountain scored two runs in the top of the fifth on a home run to center field by Cole.
University of Arkansas Rich Mountain flipped the game on its head in the top of the sixth, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 9-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to center field by Cole that drove in three.
Ball led things off in the circle for SEARK Softball. The left-handed pitcher allowed 10 hits and 12 runs (10 earned) over seven innings, striking out one and walking seven. Abercrombie led things off in the circle for University of Arkansas Rich Mountain. The hurler allowed five hits and five runs (two earned) over two innings, striking out none and walking one.
Reed, Randerson, and Alexander each collected two hits for SEARK Softball. Domangue, Bryant, Randerson, Lopez, and Alexander each drove in one run for SEARK Softball. Ball led SEARK Softball with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting four walks for the game. SEARK Softball turned one double play in the game.
Cole provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led University of Arkansas Rich Mountain with six runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Tyler, University of Arkansas Rich Mountain's number seven hitter, led the team with three hits in four at-bats. Collins and Rankin each collected multiple hits for University of Arkansas Rich Mountain. Stout paced University of Arkansas Rich Mountain with four walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game.
Game 2
SEARK Softball had trouble keeping up with University of Arkansas Rich Mountain in a 10-1 loss on Saturday at Southeast Arkansas College.
University of Arkansas Rich Mountain jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Cole singled, scoring one run, Ward hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Blythe induced Tyler to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Rankin doubled, scoring two runs.
University of Arkansas Rich Mountain added one run in the second after Cole hit a sacrifice fly.
University of Arkansas Rich Mountain added one run in the third. Rankin hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 7-0.
Blythe took the loss for SEARK Softball. The hurler went six innings, allowing 10 runs (nine earned) on 15 hits, striking out three and walking none. Nickerson started the game for University of Arkansas Rich Mountain. The starter allowed four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out two and walking two.
Randerson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead SEARK Softball in hits. SEARK Softball were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ball made the most plays with five.
University of Arkansas Rich Mountain amassed 15 hits in the game. Rankin led University of Arkansas Rich Mountain with three runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup.
