Southeast Arkansas College Names Doug Wingler as Head Softball Coach
SEARK Athletics is proud to welcome Coach Doug Wingler
Southeast Arkansas College is excited to announce the hiring of Doug Wingler as the new head softball coach.
Coach Wingler brings seven seasons of head coaching experience from Mendocino College in California, along with more than a decade coaching high school softball. Prior to his coaching career, he competed collegiately as a catcher and second baseman, finishing at the University of Louisville, where he earned All-Metro Conference honors in his senior season.
President Tyrone Jackson, Ed.D., stated, "We are excited to welcome Coach Wingler to SEARK. His experience and passion for the game will be a tremendous asset to our program and student-athletes."
Coach Wingler added, "Coaching is about more than the game. It's about developing student-athletes and preparing them for success on and off the field. I'm excited to bring that passion to SEARK and help our program grow."
