SEARK Men’s Basketball Dominates Again and Improves to 4-1 Behind Season High Performances
The SEARK Sharks continued their explosive start to the season with another commanding victory, powering past their opponent in a 114-69 win that showcased their trademark defensive intensity and balanced scoring attack.
The Sharks have been putting the region on notice all November, stacking statement wins with huge margins. SEARK has now recorded victories of 109-72, 98-81, 106-60, and now 114-69, moving to 4-1 on the year. The only blemish came in a narrow battle against Coahoma, a matchup the Sharks will get to revisit on Monday on the road.
SEARK's identity has been clear from day one. The Sharks swarm defensively, smothering teams at the perimeter and making life miserable in the paint. That pressure leads to turnovers, transition buckets, and opponents wearing down as the game goes on. Saturday was no different.
Amir Rosa delivered his best performance of the season, pouring in a season high 29 points while also securing 10 rebounds for a dominant double double. Starter Jordan Allen commanded the offense with precision, finishing with a season high 12 assists to go along with 13 points as he continues to emerge as one of the most reliable floor generals in Region 2.
Cadell Wallace added 13 points and 5 assists, giving SEARK another steady two way performance. Dominique Baptiste came off the bench and made a strong impact as well, finishing with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.
With four wins by convincing margins and the team's chemistry strengthening each game, the Sharks are trending upward at the perfect time. SEARK now turns its focus to Monday's rematch against Coahoma, looking to avenge its only loss of the season and continue its run of dominant play.
