Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) Gears Up for Inaugural NJCAA Baseball Season Opener
SEARK begins its first-ever NJCAA baseball season.
Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) will host its first-ever National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) baseball season. The highly anticipated inaugural season kicks off with a home opener against the formidable South Arkansas Stars.
The Sharks, led by Head Coach Toby Cornejo, are gearing up for an exciting journey into the world of NJCAA baseball setting the stage for an unforgettable first season of competition.
Coach Toby Cornejo, who has been instrumental in shaping the team and preparing them for this historic moment, expressed his excitement about the upcoming season. "Bringing NJCAA baseball to Pine Bluff is a momentous occasion for SEARK, our players, and the entire community. We have been working tirelessly to build a competitive and resilient team, and the first regular-season game is a chance for us to showcase our dedication and passion for the sport. We are eager to make a mark in the NJCAA and create lasting memories for our fans," said Coach Cornejo.
The inaugural season opener will take place at The Relyance Athletics Center on Tuesday, January 30 at 1:00 pm., followed by a second game 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Fans and supporters are encouraged to come out and cheer for SEARK as they embark on this historic journey. The atmosphere promises to be electric, with the team eager to make a strong statement in their first NJCAA baseball season.
